Killeena House Policies
Pet Policy: We do not allow pets here at Killeena House. Any animals brought onto the grounds without prior consent from management will be asked to leave.
Children: Children are welcome at Killeena House. All children must be supervised by an adult or guardian when outside on the grounds. There are many plants, trees, wildlife and ponds here which should be respected.
Parking: We have a car park allocated for all guests (sign posted to the left as you come in the gates). Parking is only permitted here. Parking elsewhere on the grounds is prohibited as areas must be kept clear for ambulance, service vehicles and also for the safety of children playing. Cars parked in other areas of the grounds will be asked to move.
Check In/Out: Check in is between 4pm-7pm. In most cases, there will be a self check in, unless alternative arrangements have been made with management. Check out is 10.30am.
Noise: Parties are prohibited at Killeena. We have a quiet time policy between 10pm - 8am. Lack of adherence of this policy could result in the termination of the stay.
Litter: Please take all rubbish home with you and dispose of appropriately in the bins provided.
BBQs: Disposable BBQs are strictly prohibited at Killeena House. Guests may bring their own gas BBQ or kettle/charcoal BBQ, please let management know before arrival. All guests must dispose of ash appropriately in the bins provided (see the map in your cottage for the locations of the 2 ash bins).
Smoking: Smoking and E-Cigarettes are completely prohibited inside any of the buildings and cottages at Killeena. Any smoking paraphernalia must be disposed of appropriately. Smoking is not allowed within 5 metres of any of the buildings.
Groups: We only allow the booking a maximum of two cottages for groups. We can make exceptions in this case if the whole property is booked out for weddings on Inish Beg. Hen and Stag parties are not permitted.
Length of Stay: We have a minimum of a two, three or seven night stay policy here at Killeena, depending on the time of year. In this case we can not take one night bookings. In July and August, we can only accommodate week long stays.
Private Reservations: All private reservations require a 20% deposit to be paid by bank transfer at the time of booking. The remaining amount can be paid up until 10 days prior to the check in date. A failure to do so will result in the loss of the booking and deposit. Bookings made through Airbnb and Booking.com are subject to their own payment/cancellation policies.
