ABOUT KILLEENA HOUSE
The perfect base from which to explore this historic and beautiful area. The twelve self-catering cottages, nestled in four acres of picturesque gardens, offer our guests the ideal place to holiday in the south-west of Ireland. We offer fully self-catered accommodation, giving you the total freedom of home. We also have on-site laundry services, a sauna & relaxation room, games room, woods to walk in
and, of course, a friendly "Killeena" welcome.

FACILITIES AT KILLEENA
Free WIFI
Free WIFI is available in all of our self-catering cottages.
Parking
We have on site parking which is only a one minute walk from the cottages. All cars must be parked in the designated car park. Cars and personal belongings are left at the owner's own risk.

Gardens & Woodland
Explore our four acres of beautiful gardens, woodland, ponds and pier. You can access Inish Beg Estate easily and safely through our woods.
Linen, Towels & Laundry
​
Bed linen and towels are provided at the beginning of your stay. Additional towels can be provided at a cost during your stay. Please inquire with management.
There is a laundry facility for guests to use at a cost of ten euro.
Sauna
Our sauna and cold water tub is the perfect place for our adult guests to relax and unwind. This is available to reserve at a cost of twenty-five euro per hour, which includes fresh towels and still & sparkling water. Advanced booking is advised due to demand.
Bike Storage

We have a covered area for bike storage which is free to use for all guests. Please bring your own bike lock. Use of this facility is at the users own risk.
DVD Lending
We have a large selection of DVDs in our film library, along with DVD players, which can be used free of charge during your stay.

THINGS TO DO
Baltimore & The Islands
We are situated approx. five minute drive from the picturesque Baltimore Village. From here you can take a short ferry ride to Sherkin and Cape Clear islands, along with many more water activities and tours. Information on everything Baltimore can be found at baltimore.ie
Wild Atlantic Way
We are situated neatly along the Wild Atlantic Way. From our property you can access stunning views over the river Ilen from our pier on Charity Quay.
Skibbereen Farmers' Market
The market takes place every Saturday until approx. 2pm in Skibbereen town (near Aldi), a ten minute drive from Killeena. Here you can avail of fantastic fresh produce, delicious hot and cold food, locally roasted coffee, arts and crafts and much more.
Lough Hyne
We are just a stone's throw away (3km) from one of Irelands most famous lakes, Lough Hyne. Here you can enjoy water sports such as kayaking, paddle boarding, and even a short hike up Knockmonagh Hill to enjoy breathtaking views.
Leisure Activities
Killeena House is the perfect location to explore the countryside by bicycle.
We also recommend a walk from Baltimore village up to the Beacon, which can be taken at your leisure.
Why not also take a picnic from the market and relax on the grounds of Killeena House?
Local Bars & Resaurants
In Baltimore Village you will find lovely places to eat and drink by the waterfront. You will also find plenty of options in the local area and surrounding towns and villages such as Skibbereen, Ballydehob, Leap, Schull. A list of our favourite places to eat and drink will be found in your cottage.
